Hi, I'm Katie
Hello! Welcome to my website!
When I first started photography, I didn't plan to become a boudoir photographer, but swiftly found out that Boudoir makes my heart sing.
I booked my very first session when I was at a low point in my life. I was not feeling the best in my body and wanted to get out of my comfort zone. During my first session with Moss Boudoir, I realized that sinking into my softer side and identity is actually one of the most empowering feelings. This set me on a journey of self acceptance and discovery. I started modelling, and then in 2023 finally picked up a camera and never looked back.
Along with my experience modelling, I also hold a BA in Sociocultural Anthropology (UVIC, 2019) where I was able to take several courses regarding the body as a political and cultural entity. This helped me gain a better understanding of my place in society, as well as introduce me to other perspectives and the lived experiences of others including fat, disabled, trans, LGBTQIA2+, and others. I have found that as I expand my boudoir practice, I am able to bring these perspectives and an anthropological curiosity and guidance to clients who are seeking to explore all facets of the self.
I am looking forward to working with you! From just wanting to have a fun session, reclaiming your power, or boudoir as a resistance method, I am here for all of it!
